Hemiplegia Exercises: Fix a side bent body

Hemiplegia (weakness on one side of the body) can cause the body to bending sideways. This is called laterally side bending. If the body is left to stay in this side bend position, the soft tissue structures on one side of the body will become shortened. This can make walking difficult. This can also create low back pain. The way to treat this is to stretch (elongate) on the shortened side of the body and retrain the body to maintain a “straighter” position. This video is part two in a series on how to stretch and “retrain” the body for a straighter posture

In this video I will explain the best way to regain arm and hand movement
