Watch out for hemiparesis victims walking on floor in socks. If the floor is ceramic or wooden , polished, some tile. It is like ice for many of us. I even have an issue with carpets now years later. It seems the carpets can be a plastic fibers and I do not get a good “grip” when my weak foot lands. The effect is my weak foot slides forward quickly causing me to loose my balance.
Some people don’t want to hear this but the ‘recycled made’ carpet can be the worst slippy…
